English Plus Tourism and Hospitality

These courses combine English with a general introduction to Tourism and/or Hospitality.

The courses

CTH logoEnglish Plus Tourism and Hospitality is organised as two complementary courses, Introduction to Tourism and Introduction to Hospitality.

Each is 6 weeks long. Students can follow either course individually or both ocurses consecutively.

They are run in partnership with the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality, one of the world's leading hospitality and tourism professional bodies. CTH has agreements with many prestigious UK universities and hotel schools including Les ROches and GLion in Switzerland. Kings Bournemouth is an accredited Delivery Centre for CTH programmes.

Week 1: English for Tourism

Weeks 2 – 3: Introduction to Tourism operations

Weeks 4 – 5: Introduction to marketing in tourism

Week 6: Project and Presentations: completion of graded assignment and Powerpoint presentation

Course 2: Introduction to Hospitality

6 weeks

Week 1: English for Hospitality

Weeks 2 – 3: Introduction to hotel and restaurant operations

Weeks 4 – 5: Introduction to customer service skills and relationships

Week 6: Review, Project and Presentations: completion of graded assignment and PowerPoint presentation
